Delete your account

Deleting your OptimusPep account permanently removes the account and everything attached to it from our servers: your profile, protocol and dose history, health and symptom logs, nutrition and training records, photos, assistant conversations, and settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It is a real deletion, not a deactivation.

From inside the app

  1. Open OptimusPep and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. The account and its server-side data are removed immediately.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email support@optimuspep.com from the address your account is registered under, with the subject line "Delete my account". We verify the request against that address and complete the deletion. You will get a confirmation reply when it is done.

What is kept, and why

Two categories of record survive deletion, neither of which identifies you. Aggregate request counts used for abuse prevention carry no account reference once the account is gone. And a one-way hash of the email address is retained solely so a free trial cannot be restarted by deleting and re-creating an account; it cannot be reversed into the address and is linked to nothing else.

Subscription billing itself is handled by Apple and Google. Canceling a subscription happens in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the account here does not cancel a store subscription, and the stores keep their own purchase records under their own policies.
