This Cookie Policy explains what OptimusPep, LLC (“OptimusPep”) stores on your device when you visit optimuspep.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

The short version: this website sets one cookie, only if you choose a language, and it is there to remember that choice. There is no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and nothing here follows you to any other site.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage is a similar mechanism built into your browser. Both are ways for a site to remember something between visits, and both are covered by this policy.

Everything this site stores on your device

op-locale, a cookie. Written only when you pick a language from the language switcher, or open a page in Spanish or Portuguese. It holds nothing but that language code, so the site can keep showing you the language you chose, including on the legal pages that are published in English only. It lasts one year, it is set by this site alone, and it is never sent anywhere else.

pep-privacy-notice, a local storage entry. Set when you dismiss the privacy notice at the bottom of the page, so it does not reappear on every visit. Its only value is a record that you have seen the notice.

That is the complete list. We do not set a cookie to identify you, to count you, or to build a profile of you, and you are not asked to log in to read anything here.

What this site does not use

No analytics or measurement product of any kind. No advertising or retargeting cookies. No tracking pixels, tag managers or conversion tags. No session recording or heatmaps. No social media buttons, embedded players or comment widgets that would load code from another company. No cross-site or cross-device tracking, and no browser fingerprinting. No third party sets anything on your device through this site, because there are no third-party scripts on it to do so.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share your health or protocol data for advertising. There is no advertising on this site at all.

Why there is no accept or reject button

A consent banner exists to ask permission for things that are not essential, such as analytics and advertising. This site runs none of them. The one cookie it sets is a preference you create yourself, by an explicit action, purely so the site can give you what you just asked for, and a preference of that kind does not require consent. Offering you a choice that switches nothing off would tell you something untrue about this site, so we do not offer one. The notice at the bottom of the page tells you what is stored and links here.

If we ever add anything non-essential, that changes. We would ask for your consent before it loaded, keep your decision, and give you a way to change it at any time. Nothing of that kind runs today.

Your choices

Choosing a different language from the switcher overwrites the language cookie immediately. Clearing site data for optimuspep.com in your browser removes both the cookie and the local storage entry, and your browser settings can block or delete cookies for this site altogether. Blocking them costs you nothing except that the site stops remembering your language.

You may also exercise the privacy rights described on our Your Privacy Choices page, including access, correction, deletion and portability. We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request, and there is nothing for it to switch off here because we do not sell or share personal information in the first place.

Third parties

No third party sets a cookie or runs a script on this site. The companies we rely on work behind it rather than in your browser: our hosting provider serves the pages, and when you submit a form, such as a partner application or the newsletter sign-up, it is delivered to our email and database providers so we can reply to you. They process that information only to provide the service to us, under their own privacy commitments, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

A creator referral link of the form optimuspep.com/go/code adds one row to a counter so the creator can see how many people followed their link. That row records which link was used and when. It stores nothing on your device, and deliberately holds no IP address, no browser details and no identifier of any kind, so it counts clicks rather than people.
