Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OptimusPep, LLC (“OptimusPep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use optimuspep.com, the OptimusPep mobile application, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you are a Washington resident, please also see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Some of this health-related information is “sensitive” data. We treat it with heightened care and process it only to provide the features you request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and operate the Services; to log and organize the protocol records, doses, schedules, and notes you enter; to provide calculators and educational features that operate on your own inputs; to maintain your account and process subscriptions; to communicate with you about the Services; to provide support; to keep the Services secure and prevent fraud or abuse; and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Automated Features and AI

Some features use calculators and, where offered, an educational assistant that operate on the information you enter or import, for example to help you organize records or to surface general reference material. These outputs are estimates and general information only. They are not exact measurements, medical assessments, dosing recommendations, or instructions. Where these features rely on service providers, which today are OpenAI (the educational assistant) and Anthropic (analysis of meal and vial photos you choose to submit), we contract with them and do not permit them to use your data for their own purposes, including training their models.

When you ask the assistant a question about your own record, a summary of your own figures is sent to answer it, and that summary can include your latest body weight, its change across the days recorded, and last night’s sleep hours, including values that came from Apple Health. It can also include how closely you have followed your schedule, how many doses you logged this week and today, the next dose due and the compound it is for, and how much of each compound you have left with the dates it would run out, expire, or need reordering. It can include your training week: how many workouts you finished, their combined sets and their combined volume, and for your most recent workout its name, when it ended, how long it lasted, its sets, its volume, and how many personal records it set, together with the name of the training program you are running and which day of that program you are on. The count of personal records travels without the exercises behind it. For nutrition it can include today’s protein grams and water cups against the daily targets you set, and, for this week, how many days you logged either one and how many of those days met each target. It can include how many days in a row you have recorded something, counting a dose, a weight, a workout, or a protein or water entry. Once you have logged enough days for the patterns feature to say anything, the summary can carry those pattern lines as well: how many days you logged a symptom and how many of those fell within a day of a dose, how many dose days passed with none, and your average sleep hours, protein, and water split across the days those things did and did not happen. The lines count symptom days without naming the symptoms. Answering also draws on the protocol records in your account, such as your compounds with their doses and frequency and when you last logged one. A general or educational question is answered without any of it, so an educational question never carries your own record anywhere.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your health or protocol data with advertising networks or for advertising purposes. We share information only with: service providers that operate the Services on our behalf (such as hosting, storage, payments, email, analytics, and AI processing), under contracts that limit their use of the data; authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. Anything read from Apple Health is covered by this as well: we never use it for advertising and never sell it, which is what Apple requires of every app that reads Apple Health.

Lookups in public databases. Some features answer a question by checking a public record: a compound reference against the FDA, PubChem and PubMed, and Find A Physician against NPPES, the federal provider registry. In either case we send only what the lookup itself needs, which is an identifier for a compound, or a city, state and specialty for a physician search. We never attach your account, your protocol, your health data, or anything that identifies you.

Where the request goes differs by where you are using it, and both answers are good ones. On this website it passes through our server rather than going straight from your browser, on purpose: a direct request would tell that outside database your IP address and what you were looking up, and routing it through us keeps it off their records. We do not log the query, set a cookie for it, or keep any record of who searched for what. In the mobile app the request goes from your device straight to the public database, so it does not reach us at all and there is nothing for us to keep.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and certain profiling. We honor these rights for all users regardless of your state. To exercise them, email support@optimuspep.com or use the tools in the app. You may also delete your account and data from within the app at any time. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and you may appeal a decision by contacting us.

Do Not Sell or Share / Your Privacy Choices. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can review your choices on our Your Privacy Choices page. We also recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request.

6. Cookies

Our website sets one cookie, to remember the language you choose, and one local storage entry recording that you have seen our privacy notice. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking, so there is nothing non-essential to switch off. You can block or delete cookies for optimuspep.com in your browser settings at any time. For the full list, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and then delete or de-identify it, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app; we will process the deletion within a reasonable period.

8. Security and Breach Notification

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affects your information in a way that requires notice, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.

9. Children

The Services are intended for users 18 and older and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact support@optimuspep.com and we will delete it.

10. International Users

We operate in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States. Where we offer the Services to residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your explicit consent to process health and photo data, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
